Every extra place you sponsor helps provide meals for those experiencing food insecurity and prevents good food from going to waste.
Food Hunger in the UK
According to the Food Foundation’s July 2026 tracker, 6.5 million adults and 2.2 million children in the UK live in food-insecure households, struggling to afford or access enough food.
Each year, 4.6 million tonnes of edible food are wasted in the UK before reaching households. Much of this could be redistributed to people who need it.
Why Support Felix?
Felix rescues surplus food from across the food industry, including farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, and redistributes it through a network of more than 8,000 charities and community groups across the UK.
Together with its network partners, Felix supported 1.5 million people and helped provide 148 million meals in the last reported year.
By supporting Felix, we can help prevent good food from going to waste and ensure more people have access to the food they need.
For every event we cater, you have the option to sponsor one or more extra places, a simple gesture that can make a meaningful difference.
