Set in the Kent Downs above Sevenoaks, Riverhill Himalayan Gardens is a private estate and event and wedding venue in Kent. The venue spans more than 12 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, with panoramic views across the Weald of Kent.
Laid out in the early 19th century by John Rogers, the estate remains in the family’s care, preserving its spirit of adventure and horticultural heritage.
Inspired by plant-hunting expeditions to the Himalayas, the gardens feature rare and unusual species, vibrant borders, a walled garden with a central fountain, hedge maze, and peaceful woodland paths. The varied landscape creates multiple perspectives and a picturesque backdrop for weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events.
Riverhill Himalayan Gardens can host up to 150 guests for ceremonies and 250 guests for receptions, with expansive lawns and marquee spaces providing flexibility for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations.
