The Place2Be Christmas Carol Concert
Place2Be’s Virtual Carol Concert
When - Thursday 3 December 2020
Where - From the comfort of your home
Join Peapod & Co. for Place2Be’s first ever Virtual Christmas Carol Concert on Thursday 3 December 2020, raising funds for children’s mental health.
This year’s Place2Be Christmas Carol Concert promises to be the one Christmas stalwart celebration that definitely won’t be cancelled. Held annually in order to raise vital funds for children’s mental health charity, Place2Be, of which the Duchess of Cambridge is the patron, is going virtual and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.
Sophie Dahl, Keira Knightley, Ben Miller, Damian Lewis, Katie Thistleton, Nina Sosanya and Joe Stilgoe are amongst the celebrities and personalities confirmed to read and they will be joined on the evening by incredible Soprano Laura Wright, who will lead the carols and perform several festive pieces. For those familiar with the event and also the now much loved White Company Tree of Wishes, no fear this too will be going virtual. As one of the charity’s key fundraising events, we hope you will be able to support this much loved Carol Concert.
To mark the occasion Peapod & Co. has devised a special Place2Be Carol Concert Canapé Box. 10% of the box value will go to the charity. For more information, please get in touch.
We don’t mean to remind everyone as to what a tough year it has been, we’ve all been living it, but as an independent caterer with a company in its infancy we have felt the impact of COVID-19 acutely. We fare proud to be able to support key charities where possible. The thought of combining canapés with an evening celebrating Christmas merriment and raising money felt like one not to miss.
Early bird tickets are available at http://place2be.org.uk/carolconcert
