Christmas Party Season and Country Life Award
The lead up to Christmas is always the best part of the holiday season, and a great excuse for a get-together with clients, colleagues or friends. December was especially fun for us as we enjoyed many corporate and private festive parties across London and Hampshire.
Our highlights in December included the annual Robert Kime Christmas party in Belgravia and being shortlisted for the prestigious Country Life Canapé of the Year Award.
Country Life’s Canapé of the Year Award
Peapod & Co. was honoured to be shortlisted for Country Life’s Canapé of the Year award 2019, in association with Plain English Design. The prestigious award is given to the most delicious and beautifully presented canapé, and we are honoured to be considered among the top contenders.
Out of a mega 18 entries from leading catering companies across the UK, we were thrilled to be awarded fourth place with our canapé ‘The Crab in Orbit’. This year, Country Life Editor Mark Hedges, co-founder of Plain English Tony Niblock, TV critic William Sitwell and chef Marianne Lumb were given the tricky job of choosing the most desirable canapé.

Peapod & Co. was thrilled to be selected as the event partner for Robert Kime's Christmas party in Belgravia, London. With an unparalleled reputation as a discreet, tasteful interior designer, Robert Kime has risen to eminence in the profession via antique dealing, textile collecting and an abiding passion for putting rooms together.
The event was attended by 250 of Kime's closest clients, guests and friends.
The menu featured canapés from the sea, soil, and land, which were served with Nicolas Courtin Brut NV champagne and elderflower and mint spritzers mocktails. The event was adorned with beautiful floral arrangements by Orange Blossom at Home.
