Peapod & Co. was proud to be the exclusive catering partner for Enchanted, Assel Sargaskayeva’s inaugural solo exhibition in the UK. Held over three days in a prestigious Mayfair gallery, the private view brought together invited guests, representatives from esteemed galleries, art collectors, and press to celebrate Assel’s distinctive artistic vision.
The artistic setting called for an elegant and creative approach to gallery catering. Our team designed a bespoke food and drink experience to reflect the exhibition’s themes, balancing style, seasonality and cultural inspiration. Every detail was curated to enhance the creative atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy an immersive and memorable private view.
Assel Sargaskayeva: Enchanted Exhibition in Mayfair
Peapod & Co. was delighted to manage all food and drink for this high-profile art exhibition in the heart of London. Drawing inspiration from Assel’s Kazakh heritage and vibrant creative style, we crafted a menu that featured seasonal ingredients, bold colours and refined presentation.
From delicate canapés to thoughtfully paired drinks, every item was chosen to reflect the tone of the gallery event. Our experienced team worked discreetly to ensure smooth service throughout all three days of the exhibition.
As an established gallery caterer in London, Peapod & Co. was proud to support Enchanted, a landmark solo show that marked a key moment in Assel Sargaskayeva’s career. Our role included full food and drink management, setup and staffing. The presentation was refined, and the menu was crafted to complement the exhibition setting and artistic experience.
The Exhibition
The Enchanted exhibition delved into the exploration of mystical female images, highlighting their sacred significance across various religious cultures. This artistic endeavour also revealed the artist’s personal spiritual journey, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a realm of profound artistic expression.
As a contemporary artist, Assel Sargaskayeva is renowned for her unique style, characterised by meticulous attention to detail, vibrant colours, and rich emotional depth that resonates with all who experience her work.
The three-day private view was attended by Assel Sargaskayeva, alongside leading journalists and representatives from London galleries and PR companies, including the National Portrait Gallery, the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) and JPR Media Group.

During the exhibition, guests enjoyed a selection of our canapés, thoughtfully crafted to accommodate all dietary requirements, and paired with wine.
