James & Tommy’s Festival Wedding in Dogmersfield

When James and Tommy envisioned a vibrant, festival-themed wedding in the village of Dogmersfield in Hampshire, we were thrilled to bring their dream to life.

Collaborating with the couple and wonderful wedding suppliers, we helped create a magical celebration set in fields filled with live music, street food and an electric party atmosphere—everything they had hoped for and more.

The wedding celebrated the best of English produce with a focus on sustainability, featuring locally sourced ingredients such as Cornish gin, Hampshire wine, Hereford beef and West Country oysters. Every detail was chosen and heralded by the couple to support local producers, ensuring a sustainable and unique festival experience.

Upon arrival, wedding guests collected their vibrant festival passes from a foliage wall before making their way to the fun festival-style marquees, tents and chill out areas, fully immersing themselves in the one-of-a-kind wedding-meets-festival experience.

A Day of Celebrating Love

350 guests, or rather, ticket holders, were welcomed through a beautiful green foliage archway and colourful festival flags, where they were greeted by the Peapod & Co. festival team serving English sparkling wine, cocktails, and coolers.

Throughout the day, guests immersed themselves in a variety of themed tents and chill-out areas, creating the perfect spaces to party, relax and mingle. The air was filled with joy as loved ones shared heartfelt speeches, and everyone joined in on lively group sing-a-longs with the couple and live wedding bands.

The couple’s fabulous first dance to Beyoncé’s "End of Time" and "Crazy in Love" set the perfect tone for the evening, kicking off a night of dancing and celebrating their love. As the stars shone above, guests danced to iconic festival anthems, making unforgettable memories that lasted well into the night.

Festival Catering

Festival food and drink were at the heart of this fun this outdoor wedding, with festival catering bringing lively street food atmosphere to the celebration.

Guests enjoyed a vibrant selection of canapés from the sea, soil and land, beautifully presented on colourful trayscapes, alongside street food and bowl food.

The festival menu included, Cornish line caught pollock and chips, mackerel canapés, Charred corn, yoghurt, pomegranate, mint tacos, Cornish minted lamb burgers, Lobster brioche rolls, Shucked oysters shucked with lemon, tabasco & shallot dressing, Buttermilk fried Cotswold chicken burger, Steamed bao buns with confit duck, Coconut and Cotswold chicken tacos with kaffir lime, and more…

As the celebration continued into the night, late-night food and treats were served to keep to the VIP ticket holders munchies at bay and enjoy the celebrations until the early hours. And dance they did!

Cocktail Bar and Wine

Our cocktail bar offered a selection of signature party cocktails featuring Porthilly Spirit Cask Aged Rum, Cornish Vodka, and Cornish Coastal Gin, alongside English wines and drinks, all chosen to complement the vibrant atmosphere. Party cocktails included: DLL & Dragon Storm, Bumblezesty Porthilly Fizz and Anaconda Stumble.

To keep guests refreshed throughout the day, a selection of festival-style drinks was served, including Pimm’s No.1 Cup, Rosé Sangria, Spitfire Golden Ale, and Whitstable Bay Blonde Lager. For those opting for refreshing soft drinks, there was a choice of infused water and Elderflower & Mint Fizz, perfect for the summer celebration.

For the tipples for toasts, guests raised their glasses with English sparkling wine, including Hattingley Valley Classic Reserve from Hampshire, Camel Valley Rose Pinot Noir Brut from Cornwall, as well as Rimuss Champion non-alcoholic fizz, ensuring that everyone had something special to celebrate with.

Hear from the Groom

  • "It was all a dream. The food you produced was such a talking point for many of our guests. "The best Oysters ever!" "That mackerel was unreal!" "I can't stop thinking about those lamb burgers!" and I have to say that the late night melted cheese treats were just the ticket for me. We cannot thank you enough for the quality and attitude of all your staff either, we are so glad that they enjoyed it too. Maybe that was the key to them being such a positive part of the whole. Oh if we could only do it all again..."
