Izi & Tom’s English Wedding in the Hampshire Countryside
We were delighted to cater for Izi and Tom’s beautiful two-day English wedding in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. Their celebration was a perfect blend of tradition and countryside charm. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of their special day, collaborating with an incredible team of wedding suppliers to bring their stunning vision to life.
The Wedding Reception
Izi and Tom’s special day began with a beautiful ceremony at the local church. The couple, along with their bridal party and guests, arrived at the reception in classic Land Rovers adorned with flowers and vintage buses in countryside style.
Guests were greeted into the garden with champagne and the musical accompaniment of a string quartet, creating a relaxed, classical atmosphere. The garden setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Throughout the reception, the Peapod & Co. team served a selection of canapés from the soil, land and sea.
In addition, our oyster shuckers served over 150 locally-sourced rock oysters — the largest we’ve ever seen. Guests relished them with traditional accompaniments, including Tabasco, shallot vinaigrette and fresh lemon.
Guests sipped on Louis Roederer Brut Collection champagne, Berry Bros. & Rudd Provence Rosé by Château la Mascaronne and moctails.
The Stunning Marquee
After enjoying the garden reception, everyone headed into the stunning marquee. With beautiful pink, white and green floral arrangements along the tables, and ferns delicately lining the space. The theme carried through the marquee and stationery, with breathtaking hanging floral installations adding a whimsical touch of romance.
The Wedding Menu
The evening proceeded with wonderful speeches and celebratory wedding toasts to Izi and Tom. As guests raised their glasses, we began to serve the first course. To begin with, we served Burrata Pugliese, kataifi pastry, gazpacho and Capocollo. This was followed by Roasted Hereford fillet of beef, potato purée, beef short rib, roscoff onion, Kent asparagus and jus.

The Party
After dinner, Izi and Tom took to the floor for their first dance. The marquee came alive as guests joined the newlyweds, swaying to timeless classics from legends like Fleetwood Mac, while outside, roaring fire pits cast a golden glow over the wedding celebrations.
Our dessert canapés and signature cocktails, including Negronis and Espresso Martinis, kept spirits high and the celebrations alive.
As the night unfolded, late-night food was served to guests, including Bao buns with succulent BBQ pulled pork, crispy shallots, pickled onion, and our popular Comté and truffle toasties—perfect party food for refuelling after dancing.
