We are Peapod & Co., a leading catering and event planning company specialising in innovative food and bespoke services for private parties, weddings, corporate events, brand activations, sporting occasions, and premium hospitality across London and the South of England.
Founded by award-winning chef Henrietta Russell, who brings over twenty years of experience, our commitment to delivering unique and memorable experiences is driven by her passion for food, hospitality and celebration.
Our clients include private individuals, leading brands, and organisations across the UK and beyond. Known for our discretion, creativity, and highly personalised approach, we are trusted to deliver design-led events of the highest calibre. Meet our Founder & Head Chef, Henrietta Russell
Henrietta Russell (also known as the canapé queen) launched Peapod & Co. in 2019 to bring creative, seasonal menus to the South of England.
Ballymaloe trained, Henrietta has over twenty years of event and catering experience, working with a wide range of discerning clients and brands at premier events from whimsical weddings and press launch events to Chelsea Flower Show, summer parties at the V&A, the Royal Academy and London Fashion Week. One of her career highlights was catering for Queen Elizabeth II during the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
Previously Head Chef of Rocket Food and Sous Chef at internationally recognised event group, Rhubarb (RHC Hospitality), Henrietta has worked at some of the leading catering companies in the UK, honing her skills, devising award-winning recipes and furthering her creativity.
Growing up in the countryside, Henrietta is passionate about sourcing the best fresh, local ingredients for her dishes wherever possible, bringing these to life with new techniques and experimental touches.
Under Henrietta's stewardship of the Rocket Food kitchen, they became two-time award winners of Country Life’s Canapé of the Year award. Prior to her career in London, Henrietta was a private chef in Verbier and pastry chef at the Hotel Du Vin group.

Why Peapod & Co.?
There’s a little more to this name than you may think. Henrietta is a triplet, the youngest pea in a pod, in fact.
Having grown up in the countryside, Henrietta’s passion for cooking, food and the rural lifestyle blossomed from an early age. Being close to her family, Henrietta felt it was important to choose a brand name that celebrated this, was unique and fun, and embodied her values.

Our Ingredients
The provenance of our ingredients is really important to us to guarantee high quality and safeguard our environment.
We work with selected British suppliers who source from local farmers, distilleries, breweries, and English vineyards where possible, all of whom are passionate about sustainability and quality.

From the Soil
Our selection of fruits and vegetables is sourced from leading British suppliers, ensuring premium quality and freshness. On our menus you will find Kent asparagus, Isle of Wight tomatoes, English wines and spirits, including The River Test Distillery, Candover Brook and Exton Park.
From the Land
Our meat primarily sourced from award-winning butcher in London, HG Walter, comes from small farms in the UK raising free-range native breeds like Hereford and Aberdeen Angus cattle and Large White and Hampshire Duroc cross breeds from Suffolk and the South Downs, known for superior quality and contributing to sustainability through a biodiverse landscape.
From the Sea
We prioritise sourcing responsibly caught fish from UK rivers and seas through trusted suppliers, such as Severn & Wye Smokery. When necessary, we also select international sources to ensure the highest quality.
